Amazing Crêpes was established in 2005 after Whitefish food entrepreneurs Becky and Todd Horning visited Thailand and got the idea to start a mobile crêperie. The "crêpe bus" was one of the first food trucks in the Flathead Valley, serving local farmers markets and outdoor community events. The idea caught on quickly, and in 2009, Amazing Crêpes opened a cafe in historic downtown Whitefish.
Sara Seed joined the company as an employee in 2017, and purchased the business in 2018 when the Hornings moved on to a new business venture. Sara is a native of Seattle with a background in finance and a passion for high quality food experiences. She relocated to Whitefish to be closer to family and nature, and pursue her dream of owning her own restaurant.
